[Fashion Fridays] Reformation

O B S E S S E D with this LA company Reformation. If I weren't poor (hello, I get paid Panamanian wages FML), I would buy something from their new lines every single month. And I do NOT say that liberally.

They come out with new lines almost weekly it seems like. They are a fan of the "fast fashion" movement, but they do it eco-consciously. They make all of their clothes in the USA and only make a small number of each style and color. Would recommend checking out their email newsletter here. (very witty)

The NY Times wrote a nice piece about them here.

Here are some of my recent favorites...

[Fashion Fridays] Valentino Spring/Summer 2015

I've always loved and appreciated the style house of Valentino, and their Spring 2015 collection does not disappoint. I'm really loving the lace, cut outs, tulle, and sheer fragility of styles now-a-days. Take a look at what Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli give us...

[Street Art Sundays] Fin DAC

I'm so happy to have stumbled upon Irish muralist and artist Fin DAC! His murals of women, typically of Asian decent, are absolutely beautiful! I love love love the back and white with a colourful mask. Super cool work!

Check him out on Flickr here and on Tumblr here.

[Style Saturday] Incorporating Vintage in Bathrooms

Who doesn't love a beautiful and well-styled bathroom? Out with the dated boring pedestal white porcelain sinks and plastic bathtubs. In with the vintage furniture, modern sinks, and beautiful tile designs!

Today let's look at some interesting ways to mix up the vanity with furniture pieces.

There are SO many combinations and creative ways to incorporate furniture - old and new - into bathroom designs. I definitely recommend checking out Apartment Therapy's post about different things to think about in regards to using vintage furniture in bathrooms.

Here are my favorite designs to inspire you!

[Fashion Fridays] 'Light Brigade' US Vogue March 2015

The absolute worst part about living abroad is not being able to receive magazine subscriptions. Ok, yes I know it's possible to ship overseas, but do you know how much that costs? $24 (or less!) for a year's worth of US Vogue versus $70 for an international subscription? Yikes.

So I continue to rely on the free things I find on the internet and relish in the hours that I get to spend combing through my subscriptions waiting for me when I travel to the US. It works out.

This editorial by Peter Lindbergh for US Vogue March 2015 is awesome. See for yourself. It doesn't need much introduction!

[Sunday Street Art] Etam Cru

Etam Cru's work is so cool. They are a Polish duo made up on Bezt and Sainer, but their work appears all over Europe and North America. Here are my recent favourites from them. Enjoy!
