[Fashion Fridays] Jenny Packham Resort 2015

Oh what a dreamy royal collection from Jenny Packham for Resort 2015. I think she had Princess Kate Middleton in mind because all of these gowns just scream Kate!

[Monday Models] Anna Selezneva

I have a mildly strange obsession with Russian models. I first featured Anna Selezneva in February of this year. But it doesn't hurt to catch up with her again! :)

Anna is 23 and started modeling professionally in 2007. Russian models frequently have strong facial features and Anna is no exception! Her jaw and cheeks bones are quite striking.

Anna has a degree in Psychology and plans to work in the field when her modeling career slows down. Check out what she has been up to recently...

Marc Jacobs' Fall 2014 Campaign

What a fantastic idea from Marc Jacobs (no surprise there)! He held an open casting for his Fall 2014 campaign, hoping to find everyday people to be his models. The group that he put together did an amazing job on the campaign! Check out the short video below.

Amazing Digital Artwork by Pawel Nolbert

I don't post much digital artwork because I find few artists who I truly believe make worthy, passionate art through the software that they use. Those programs are so advanced that they can turn anyone into an artist with a click of a few buttons.

Of course, there are some people who so master these programs and have a creative artistic mind that they really can produce amazing work. Pawel Nolbert is one of those special persons.

He is now a super famous Pole and has worked on creative projects with dozens of large and small companies (many well-known).

Here is one of his recent projects that really struck a note with me. It's called "Atypical" and it's a series of letters, numbers and symbols "painted" digitally. I love typography so this was especially interesting to me.

Take a look...

[Tuesday Tattoos] Sergio Sanchez

I am in awe of tattoo artists whose work is so detailed that it looks like it could be framed. Sergio Sanchez, of Los Angeles, does really superb work. Check him out here:

Here is some of his work...

[Monday Models] Ine Neefs

I love Ine Neefs' style, outlook, and relaxed take on her job. Modelling is not a career for her, though she could certainly make it one! This 18 year old Belgium model prefers to be at home with her family and friends, studying to become an elementary school teacher. :)

She first signed with Dominique Models at age 16, but decided it wasn't for her and that she wanted to finish school. She was approached again last year and decided to give it a run. She says she feels uncomfortable in front of the camera, but she likes runway shows.

You may not see a lot of Ine in the future, but if she does appear, you won't regret seeing her!

Here's what she has been up to lately...

[Street Art Sundays] Mogul

Mogul is a Swedish artist and is very private. He has a very distinct style, always using stencils and mainly black, white and red paints.

I like how he creates witty message for society... Which is your favorite?

[Fashion Fridays] Honor Resort 2015

Lace may be one of my favorite fabrics/patterns to play with. Needless to say, I am in LOVE with Honor's Resort 2015 collection. The collection had a very Victorian, vintage feel, which is my one of my favorites.

Giovanna Randall, lead designer, went all out and risky with high waisted shorts. I'm digging it! Though I have to say that I am not a fan of the flower pattern that she choose. [UGLY in all caps]

I also thought this photoshoot was gorgeous. The models (Dani Witt and Dasha Gold) with their vibrant hair and red lips against a simple building outside in the white sand (which also looks a little like snow because of the cool lighting). It came across very natural and poetic...

[Fashion Fridays] Hervé Léger Resort 2015

If you can get over the cheesy false background in this photo shoot, the Hervé Léger Resort 2015 collection is actually really beautiful. I'm a big fan of batik patterns, which to me are traditional and cultural, and there was a good amount of that here.

This collection is also all about tight and sexy. I love it! What's your view?

Photorealistic Artist Heather Rooney

This is a young artist to watch out for! At only 20 years old, Heather Rooney makes incredible photorealistic drawings. I'll let the drawing speak for themselves...

You can find her on Facebook and YouTube, where she uploads videos of the drawing process.

[Tuesday Tattoos] Roxx

You know someone is a good tattoo artist when their book is FULL until 2016...

Roxx makes some incredible tribal-looking tattoos. This is taken from her bio:

"Roxx’s inimitable style embraces natures greatest creation, the human form. Her inspiration comes from marking the inner warrior on the outside and her visionary design work celebrates the strength of the human spirit. Indigenous art, architecture, ritual, and the divine forms of sacred geometry act to galvanize her designs."
